How to rent a home
(1) View the listings of Available Rentals. Note that there may be available rentals that have not been posted yet. Contact us with any questions.
(2) Fill out a Rental Application and submit it for review. The information you give us is in sections 1 through 4 is very helpful in determining if we have what you are looking for and is the basic information we require before showing a rental. If you are not comfortable filling in some answers (like your social security number), leave them blank.
(3) We will call you to review your needs, answer questions and to set up a mutually convenient time to see the home. Note that homes may be currently occupied, vacant and ready to show, or under construction.
(4) If you like the home at the time of the showing, you may pay a $150 deposit. This money will secure the home for up to 3 days while we process your application. If your application is approved, this money will be credited toward your rent and security. If your application is not approved, your deposit will be returned.
As part of the Application Review, we will check your credit. We recommend using www.annualcreditreport.com an online service that will protect your privacy, allow you control over who sees your personal information, and won't negatively impact your credit score. The cost for the credit report is free, but we also want to see your credit score and you will need to pay $7.95 for that piece. You can save the report to your computer and e-mail it, or print it out and fax it. Once your application is approved, we will sign the lease and exchange keys and the balance due.
